Regional EHS Manager
Location: Tai Seng, Singapore or JB, Malaysia

Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Regional EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives across our regional operations. The role ensures compliance with ISO standards, local regulations, and safe handling of hazardous materials while fostering a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Management:
Assist the occupier/employer in compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Council guidelines, the Workplace Safety and Health Act, and subsidiary legislations.
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive WSH Management System (WSHMS).
Conduct risk assessments (RA), review safe work procedures (SWP), and ensure control measures are effectively communicated and implemented.
Lead and conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and compliance checks.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Review and submit incident reports to relevant authorities, maintaining proper documentation.
Conduct WSH induction programs, toolbox meetings, and safety training for employees and subcontractors.
Advise management on safety improvements, hazard elimination, and risk mitigation strategies.
Liaise with government authorities, clients, and auditors on WSH matters.
Monitor contractor compliance with site safety requirements.
Ensure emergency preparedness plans (ERP) are in place and conduct drills as required.
Promote safety culture initiatives and internal safety campaigns.
Review and approve permits-to-work, maintain safety records, and statutory registers.
Operational Safety Governance:
Monitor daily data centre operations to ensure adherence to safe work practices.
Enforce Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities: electrical work, confined space, hot work, lifting, work at height, and dust containment.
Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) / Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC).
Oversee contractor safety management and onboarding compliance.
Verify Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) implementation for electrical works.
Lead and conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and compliance checks.
Hazardous Material Management:
Hands-on experience in the safe handling, storage, transportation, and risk control of hazardous materials including diesel fuel, lithium batteries, water treatment chemicals, dielectric fluid, and propylene glycol.
Conduct spill response planning and emergency drills related to hazardous materials.
Support management during MOM / local authority inspections and external audits.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 7–10 years of EHS experience, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-site role.
Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 and WSH legislation in Singapore, Malaysia (DOSH), and Indonesia (K3).
Hands-on experience managing hazardous materials and operational safety in industrial or data center environments.
Proven ability to lead safety governance, compliance programs, and contractor management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
