Purpose
The Finance Executive (Intern/Part-Time) will support the finance and accounting team in day-to-day bookkeeping, financial record maintenance, audit preparation, compliance tracking, and administrative tasks. The role also involves assisting in ad-hoc finance-related projects to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting accuracy.
Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, including journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including data entry and reconciliation.
Help prepare basic financial reports and schedules for management review.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and schedules.
Ensure proper filing and organization of financial and accounting documents.
Assist in compliance-related tasks, including statutory filings and documentation tracking.
Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including data management and record updates.
Support budget tracking and expense monitoring activities.
Assist in ad-hoc finance, accounting, and operational projects as assigned.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Strong willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
Ability to multitask and support ad-hoc tasks in a fast-paced environment.
